Real Life: It’s my Birthday!

It’s time for another post in the Real Life series hosted by Be Merry, Kate and myself.

Hey! Guess what! Today is my birthday!

I love birthdays!

And Damian is at preschool!

This is what you call the best day ever!

And I was going to spend the next 4 glorious hours doing nothing (and writing a cop-out of a Real Life blog post) and celebrating the day of my birth…

However, Damian was crying when I left him and the teacher was like “I’ll call you and let you know when to pick him up.” AKA you’re child is a screaming mess and there’s a good chance I’m not going to want to deal with this for 4 hours so be prepared to pick him up early.

So while I should feel a little sad that he’s sad, I’m really bummed my lazy day is probably going to get cut short. #mommyhoodfail

But hey, that’s life and 2 hours is much better than no hours and it’s still my BIRTHDAYYYYYYYY!!!! WOO!!!

So that’s my birthday love, not being a super sympathetic mom confession for the week.
